Ms. Wingate received her B.S. in Nursing from George Mason University in 1995, followed by an M.S. in Nursing from Duke University in 2002. Certified as an as an Adult/ Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Wingate has 24 years experience as a Registered Nurse in hospitals and private practice with special interest in oncology, geriatrics and autoimmune disease. She has worked 19 years in Adult/Geriatric Primary Care, and has owned Patient Centered Care - a family practice with offices in Wilmington and Bolivia, NC - for 12 years.
